Since leaving Romania in 2014 as a determined 19-year-old, the woman known to many as Bibi Obreja (Bianca-Ionela Obreja) has transformed a journey of migration into a masterclass in professional evolution.

Her story began in the demanding trenches of the UK hospitality industry, where she started from the very bottom cleaning rooms.

Through sheer grit and a refuse-to-quit attitude, she worked her way through reception and into a rigorous management program.

By 2017, after three years of balancing work and intense study, she earned her stripes as an Assistant Hotel Manager, and by 2018, she had achieved the impressive milestone of becoming a full Hotel Manager.

However, Bibi’s ambitions were never confined to a single industry. In 2020, she took a calculated break from management to honor her deep-seated passion for beauty and fashion.

She enrolled in the prestigious Beauty Academy in London and the Elisabeth Sand School, mastering the art of perfect make-up ,brows and henna. Yet, her time in the corporate world had left an impression; having witnessed the complexities of cultural differences and the sting of workplace bias, she felt a calling to change the system from the inside.

This led her to the University of West London in 2022 to pursue a degree in Human Resources Management (HRM), driven by a desire to foster equity and understanding in professional environments.

By 2023, Bibi was successfully balancing her academic pursuits with a thriving career as an international fashion model—a path she first stepped onto as a commercial model at the age of 14. Her return to the spotlight was meteoric, leading her to major runways and high-profile castings.
